Kevin M. Goebel, CPA, CGMA is President and co-owner of Goebel Commercial Realty, Inc., a realty company specializing in residential property management. He joined the company on August 1, 2000. Kevin obtained his Indiana Real Estate Sales Person license in November of 2000, his Indiana Real Estate Brokers license in September of 2003, and his Kentucky Real Estate Brokers license in November of 2003. Kevin has assumed the position of Principal Broker for Goebel Commercial Realty, Inc.

Mr. Goebel’s responsibilities at Goebel Commercial Realty, Inc., include: acting as the company’s principal broker and controller; review of monthly financial statements for over 75 property owners; support of the office computer systems; supervision of property managers; meeting with and assisting with property owners’ needs; marketing services and meeting with potential clients; property development projects; and handling or supervising tax matters.

Mr. Goebel owns ownership interests in several properties in Evansville including Golden Tower Apartments, Diamond Valley Apartments, a condominium project, and other properties.

Prior to employment at Goebel Commercial Realty, Inc., Kevin was a partner at the regional accounting firm of Kemper CPA Group LLC. He was the partner in charge of the Evansville Information Technology (IT) department. He began working in public accounting in December 1989 with Kemper CPA Group LLC, and was promoted to principal in 1994, and partner in 1997. Before specializing into IT services, he participated in numerous audit, tax, and accounting engagements, many of which were real-estate oriented.

Mr. Goebel’s responsibilities at Kemper included: Evansville IT development via client information systems design, implementation, and training; managing the Evansville IT corporate classroom training center; and serving as the office local area network systems administrator. He also served as a member of the firm’s Technology and MIS Committees.

Kevin graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern Indiana in May of 1990. He earned a degree in Accounting and passed the CPA exam in May of 1992. In addition to his accounting degree, Mr. Goebel has extensive education in and experience with numerous computer systems, languages, and software packages.
